What is going on with the Niger situation right now.Niger has suspended all diplomatic ties with France, the United States, Togo and Nigeria and is withdrawing its ambassadors.  A US C-17A military transporter arrived in Benin today, and within hours the Benin government has given support for a military strike on Niger.  Nigeria has deployed its air force to the Niger border.  Negotiations between ECOWAS (USA and France backed) and the new government of Niger have failed.The US is dropping military cargo around Niger with its warplanes and preparing its vassals to attack Niger.

Bazoum expressed his plea while emphasizing that he was writing under the constraints of being held hostage.

英帝国主义喉舌英国广播公司（BBC）的报道：

前殖民大国法国一直严厉谴责军方接管。

法国外交部发表声明称，巴祖姆总统是该国唯一的领导人，并说法国“不承认由奇亚尼将军领导的政变所产生的政权”。

法国外交部还说，法国“以最强烈的措辞重申了国际社会的明确要求，即立即恢复尼日尔的宪法秩序和民主选举的文官政府”。

美国国务卿布林肯（Anthony Blinken）呼吁立即释放总统，而非洲联盟、西非地区集团埃科瓦斯（Ecowas）、欧盟和联合国都表示反对政变。

唯一赞成政变的是俄罗斯瓦格纳雇佣军组织领导人叶夫根尼·普里戈津（Yevgeny Prigozhin），据报道他将政变形容为一场胜利。

他在瓦格纳下属的Telegram频道上说："尼日尔发生的事情只不过是尼日尔人民与殖民者的斗争。不过，他的言论尚未得到独立证实。
