据俄联邦安全局公共关系中心通报，以叶甫盖尼·普里戈任名义在社交网络散布的俄罗斯国防部疑似对“瓦格纳”私人军事公司后方部队实施导弹打击的消息与事实不符，是信息挑拨。

俄罗斯武装力量在特别军事行动区与乌克兰部队接触线继续执行战斗任务。普里戈任的声明和行径，实际上是呼吁在俄联邦境内爆发武装内战，是在与亲法西斯的乌克兰军队作战的俄罗斯军人“背后捅刀子”。” 鉴于局势的严峻性和俄联邦境内对抗升级的威胁，俄罗斯联邦安全局对叶夫盖尼·普里戈任号召武装叛乱的事实提起刑事诉讼。

联邦安全局公共关系中心宣布：“呼唤私人武装公司的战士们不要犯下无法挽回的错误，停止针对俄罗斯人民的任何强力行动，不要执行普里戈任的犯罪和背叛命令，对其采取抓捕措施。”
